Museum of the Home- Live Better Together Auction
harnessing the power of co-creation, learning and advocacy to create positive social change beyond the Museum’s walls
Hello Everyone and Happy Friday
I’m proud to be part of Museum of the Home’s online auction again this year- raising money for their Live Better Together campaign.
This auction will raise vital funds to support the Museum’s vision to live better together—harnessing the power of co-creation, learning and advocacy to create positive social change beyond the Museum’s walls.
By bidding, you can support projects that actively improve the lives of our local residents and visitors. These include:
The co-production of a Discovery Garden with local school children and families. Teaching valuable skills and sharing knowledge around nature, growing and wellbeing in an area where 70% of local residents have no access to a private or shared garden.
Creating space for activism through Home Truths talks, workshops and programming. Past Home Truths have focused on topics such as homelessness, discrimination, racism, decolonial practice and what they mean in today’s society.
Advocating for food equality across the UK; supporting Hackney Foodbank to deliver their service from the Museum.
I’ve donated a Four Spouted Tulipiere- it is amongst many great lots from Maya Nije, Spring, TooGood, Hollie Bowden x Cesca Dvorak, Troy Town and more.
Bidding is open until Sunday 23rd March. You can register and bid here.
Thanks as ever for reading!
